Maverick Investment Company Appoints Industry Veteran Mike Ingram as Shadin Avionics President & CEO

Maverick Investment Company, the owner of Shadin, L.P. d/b/a Shadin Avionics, is excited to announce the appointment of industry veteran Mike Ingram as its new President & CEO. Mike has spent his entire career in the avionics industry and has a track record of building and supporting great teams. He brings his broad expertise in avionics, systems engineering, software development, certification, and product management to Shadin Avionics’ growing Flight Performance and Aircraft Interface Systems (AIS) products.

Mike has extensive experience in the development of integrated flight decks, engine display systems, and other avionics products, and growing these product lines into profitable businesses.  Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Avionics Business Unit at Honeywell Aerospace, a division of Honeywell International, where he oversaw strategy, product management, and sales for the $2 billion Business and General Aviation, Air Transport and Military division. 

During his career, Mike has also served as Vice President of Strategy and Growth at AVIAGE SYSTEMS (GE/AVIC Joint Venture) based in Shanghai, China, and progressively more senior roles at Avidyne Corp. in engineering and product management positions.  He is an experienced, hands-on leader who will utilize his engineering and pilot skills to expand Shadin Avionics’ success in existing and new business areas.

Mike has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worchester Polytechnic Institute and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island in Ocean Engineering.
