Position Overview:

Shadin is seeking a hands on, energetic and experienced Logistics Coordinator to work in a challenging FAA regulated industry. This position will be responsible for production operations, packaging and shipping of our avionics products(all parcel no freight), organization of Shadin’s Finished Goods Warehouse, and receiving incoming shipments of material. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to work independently as well as with a talented team, and help us continue on a path of positive growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders that available for shipment meeting all customer requirements;
  • Package goods for shipment to ensure safe arrival of the product to the customer site;
  • Process customer payments and shipping charges where applicable;
  • Process shipping documentation, including export paperwork as necessary, using visual compliance website;
  • Maintain accurate inventory in finished goods warehouse;
  • Accurately receive and log incoming material shipments i.e. purchase orders, repair orders;
  • Create Shadin Certificate of Compliance (CoCs) and other required shipping receiving reports and records;
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with business development, production, and repair station personnel
  • Member of Shadin’s Safety Team to promote and maintain a safe, healthful workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred;
  • One to three years of logistics experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team with other departments to collectively meet the organizations and customer’s needs;
  • Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,
  • Experience with ERP system, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL desirable;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously;
  • Familiarity with export regulations highly desirable (training will also be provided as appropriate).
